WGN TV News is reporting a missing St. Louis woman’s murdered remains were found in a forest preserve near Des Plaines Thursday.

The woman’s ex-boyfriend is now charged with her murder.

The Cook County medical examiner has scheduled an autopsy later today for 29-year-old Marquisha Williams, a mother of four, whose body was found in a forest preserve on the 2100 block of Algonquin Road Thursday after she went missing a week before Christmas.

Williams’ ex-boyfriend, Trenton Ivy, confessed to her murder after being arrested in Wisconsin a week ago on unrelated charges, according to the report.

Authorities believe Ivy killed Williams in St. Louis after the pair had a fight and then drove her body to Des Plaines, dumping her body in the forest preserve before fleeing north.

According to the report, court records indicate blood evidence and property belonging to Williams was found in Ivy’s vehicle.

Prosecutors in Missouri are in the process of extraditing Ivy from Wisconsin, authorities said.
