Cardinals’ Jacoby Brissett Decision Is Only Delaying the Inevitable
And most fans are growing impatient. The Arizona Cardinals are only delaying the inevitable decision to bench Jacoby Brissett for another game, despite dropping to 2-5 in a 30-16 loss to the Denver Broncos. The team's offense has been struggling, with a red zone issue and a third consecutive loss of less than 20 points scored in the first seven weeks of play. The Cardinals' first-year play-calling, Mike LaFleur, confirmed that Brisset will continue to lead the team's offensive in Week 8 against the Dallas Cowboys. While Brissetts' performance is not the biggest issue, it is a collective issue within the team that needs to be addressed. The longer the team delays the inevitable benching of Brissets, the bigger of a hole they're going to dig themselves themselves.
