Hidden Game: Canadiens’ Jacob Fowler incomparable in shutout win over St. Louis
Montreal is on a three-game winning streak for the first time this season, improving to 7-3-2. The Montreal Canadiens defeated the St. Louis Blues 2-0 in a game at Enterprise Center, with Jacob Fowler's performance being hailed as exceptional. Fowler, who already has two shutouts in seven games, blocked 46 shots and saved 46 shots in the third period, including saves from Philip Froberg and Adam Jiricek. This victory was the Canadiens' first victory at St.Louis since Oct. 29, 2022. Despite this, St. St. L. Louis's head coach, Martin St. Louise, acknowledged the difficulty of playing without playing due to the Canadiens being in the NHL's toughest division. The Canadiens are on a three-game winning streak for the first time this season and have improved to 7-3-2 and are 4-1-1 on the road. The Blues have now been shut out in consecutive games.
